UK Opening Bowler Opportunity – Mildura Region, Australia

Gol Gol Cricket Club is seeking a high-quality UK opening bowler to join us for the 2026/27 season (October to March) in the Mildura region, located on the Victoria/NSW border. Competing in the Sunraysia Cricket Association, our club offers strong regional cricket played on quality turf wickets, with a competition that regularly features overseas players and representative-level talent.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-structured season, consisting of seven two-day matches and seven one-day matches. You will join a competitive but enjoyable environment, playing alongside experienced players including a former West Indies U19 international and Vic Country representatives, while contributing as a key member of our squad.
We are specifically looking for a proven new-ball bowler who can take early wickets, lead the attack, and influence games across both formats. The successful applicant will bring strong standards, a team-first attitude, and ideally some coaching experience, with opportunities available to assist with junior development, including U/16s.
Our club provides quality facilities to support performance and development, including undercover nets with lighting, an electronic scoreboard, a bowling machine, and modern clubrooms. Off the field, we offer strong support to ensure a successful and enjoyable season, including employment opportunities (casual or part-time, with potential for full-time progression), additional local work options—particularly in trades and labour—and assistance with securing accommodation.
