Village CricketAbout Ascott-Under-Wychwood Cricket Club
Historic English village cricket club in the beautiful Cotswold Hills, West Oxfordshire.
We have a beautiful and peaceful ground in the River Evenlode Valley, with a modern stone pavilion. Ascott-Under-Wychwood is a particularly picturesque & tranquil little village with a lovely pub and one small shop.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly, all inclusive club - we play against mainly other Oxfordshire & Gloucestershire village teams, with a Saturday league XI and Sunday friendly XI.
Our club was first formed way back in 1861.
We are an amateur club at grass-roots level playing for fun and do not pay any players.
