Backworth Cricket Club is a thriving and ever expanding community club which provides coaching and playing opportunities for junior and senor members aged 5+, both male and female.
We have junior sessions running weekly and provide playing opportunities for children in our Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 19 sides, which all compete within leagues and/or competitions within the local area.
We also run four male senior sides; 1st and 2nd XIs which play on a Saturday in the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket league, a Midweek T20 side on a Thursday evening and an Academy side, which competes in friendly fixtures on Sunday afternoons.
We are proud to operate as an All Stars Centre, providing a brilliant first taste of cricket for boys and girls aged 5-8 years old. For more information, visit our junior section page.
