Bedhampton Mariners Cricket Club

Bedhampton Mariners CC is looking for a young, ambitious overseas cricketer to join it for the 2020 season. League rules mean that we can't pay you. However, we can meet the cost of flights and accommodation here in Hampshire. We would also waive match fees and offer you playing kit (trousers, t-shirts and a cap.)
Ideally, we're looking for an all-rounder but a suitable batsman or bowler would certainly be considered. There may be the possibility of captaining the Saturday league side, which plays at a competitive level in the Hants CL. There are a dozen or so Sunday friendly fixtures and you would be expected to play in nearly all of these.
The club has links to a number of local midweek sides and we would be able to get you games on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and (some) Thursdays. Training usually takes place on a Thursday.
The historic village of Bedhampton is situated just outside of Portsmouth. We play our games in the South Downs (Jane Austen country) and in idyllic small towns and villages of Hampshire, the very heart of England's green and pleasant land. We are just over an hour from central London on the fast train.
This would suit an ambitious young cricketer looking to gain experience of English conditions.
