Bromley Lions Cricket Club

Bromley lions (LTS Lions Red) is a team that was founded circa 10 years ago and plays in the BTCL (British Tamils Cricket League).

Prior to covid we were the champions in our division and got promoted, with two of our players ranking amongst the highest players in terms of runs and wickets, hence the awards they earned.

We are now on the hunt for some new talent, players that are committed and love the game as much as we do. Whether you’re a batsmen or bowler there may be a spot for you in our team, you’ll just have to come to trial so we can check out your ability and if we’re happy we can get you registered and playing straight away. Now, if you’re seriously good, we may be able to cover your match fee as well as give you some form of performance bonus (i.e. £1 a run or £10 a wicket).

We’re a friendly bunch who have become more like a family and we would love for more people to come and be part of it.

The only criteria is that you’re Sri-lankan Tamil (parents are from Sri-Lanka) and have played cricket to a decent standard before.

We have a beautiful home ground that is based in South East London, near Grove Park Station, but we are open to taking anyone from all areas of London and surrounding counties.
