About Burwood Uniting Canterbury Cricket Club
Burwood Uniting Canterbury Cricket Club has been in existence since 1928. The club was known as Burwood Presbyterian until changing its name to Burwood Uniting CC in 1960. In 1998 the club merged with Canterbury Mont Albert and became Burwood Uniting Canterbury CC (BUCCC) - "Burwood Bulls". Upon the merger we field 8 senior sides, 10 Junior sides and a Milo Have Go for younger kids.
Currently we have 5 senior sides, 6 junior sides and a Master Blasters for kids up to 6 years old. We are also in the process of putting together a senior women's side and junior girls.
Our 1st XI are in the highest grade possible in synthetic cricket.
We are looking at importing 2 players for our 1st XI, a fast bowler and a top order batsmen. It does not matter if they are right or left handed. We would be looking at our season 2023/24 which commences the first week of October 2023.
