Established in 1984, Chirnside Park Cricket Club is located 35km East of Melbourne at the foothills of the picturesque Yarra Valley and is affiliated with the Ringwood & District Cricket Association (RDCA).
Boasting some of the finest facilities in the association, our clubrooms, side-by-side home grounds and 5 lane, full synthetic, fully enclosed practice nets are located at our Kimberley Reserve, Kimberley Drive base.
We currently field 6 senior men’s teams, with the 1st XI competing in the Newey Plate - the competition's 3rd premier grade, a senior women's team, 9 junior boys’ teams (1 x under 18, 3 x under 14, 3 x under 12 & 2 x under 10) and 2 junior girls’ teams (1 x under 15 & 1 x under 12), and a growing Woolworths Junior Blasters program.
A young club on the rise, we are always on the lookout for new players, male and female, young and old.
This coming season we are hoping to establish a third junior girls' team and a second senior women's team, and are expecting our junior program to expand further to include our own under 16's team.
Whether you're a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge, a local cricketer looking for a change of scenery, are new to the area and looking to continue your career, a former player looking to rekindle your passion or an interested novice keen to give it a go, Chirnside Park is the place to play for you whatever your age or ability.
Those no longer wishing to compete but wanting to be part of a club environment, as a coach, member, volunteer or supporter, are also highly encouraged to get involved.
