Colwall Cricket Club is found nestled in the foot of the Malvern Hills, looking out to the rolling Herefordshire countryside. It is regarded as one of the most picturesque Cricket grounds in England. Formed in 1872, the club boasts some of the highest quality facilities for many miles, with two pitches it is among the finest village cricket facilities in the country.
We run 3 adult teams throughout the season, in addition to vibrant and growing junior and women’s sections. We are a welcoming and family friendly club with a great social scene.

I arrived to start the 2023 season and thoroughly enjoyed my time, ultimately staying for three seasons. Everyone at the club creates an incredible atmosphere, whether it’s on Saturdays, during training sessions, or in the mid-week competitions. Playing at Colwall is an absolute joy, especially with two stunning grounds looking up to the hills. If you’re looking for more than just cricket, the surrounding hills are perfect for running or walking, and there’s a train station in the village that can get you to Worcester in 20 minutes or London in a couple of hours. Colwall has a special charm that comes from the people in and around the club. If you’re seeking a place to enjoy high-quality cricket, Colwall is hard to beat.
