About Little River Cricket Club

Little River Cricket Club is steeped in tradition and history, having been founded more than 155 years ago.
One of the region’s oldest active sporting clubs, we are based at the foothills of the You Yangs national park at the picturesque Little River Reserve, which is just a short drive from Victoria’s biggest regional city, Geelong.
We are part of a diverse sporting hub that hosts junior footy and tennis.
We support local cricket in all forms.
Affiliated with the Geelong Cricket Association, we have three senior men's sides, two senior women's sides and three junior teams (under-13s and under-11s) as well as a Woolworths Blasters program.
Our club has two venues, with our second ground based at Rees Reserve.
The club’s main ground has recently undergone a million-dollar redevelopment that provides state of the art facilities catering for females athletes and those with a disability.
Construction has also been approved to build a four-lane net facility to cater for the growth in participants, which has doubled in the past two seasons.
Known as the Redbacks, we are excited for another season ahead.
