Madeley Cricket Club

The club was formed in 1855 which makes it one of the oldest cricket clubs in Shropshire and have been ECB Clubmark accredited for several years.

The club plays in the FBC Manby Bowdler Shropshire County Cricket League and has 4 senior sides, playing in the Premier Division, Reserve Division 1 and Sunday Division 2. We also have a thriving youth section, with U11 , U13 & U15 teams playing in the East Shropshire Junior Cricket League. The club has a women's cricket team who play in the Shropshire Women And Girls League and are embarking on their third competitive season and are looking forward to the challenges ahead.

The club is not just for cricket and cricketers as we have a varied social side and run numerous crown green bowls teams, we also have a darts team, dominoes teams and more recently a pool team, we are also the base for the local pigeon racing club.

The club run various social events throughout the year ranging from quizzes to discos to live music to poker and race nights. The clubhouse , fully equipped kitchen and bar are also available for private functions throughout the year.
