Mayfield Cricket Club

We are a friendly, ambitious, and successful village club with a long and proud history stretching back to 1866. For the 2022 season we will be fielding four Saturday sides in the Sussex Cricket League, in Divisions 2, 4 East, 8 East and 12 East (North). We also run a Sunday friendly side and a National Village Knock-out Team.

We are proud to have ECB Clubmark status and have a burgeoning Colts' section with training on a Friday evening. Our newly formed Girls' section trains on a Wednesday evening. We have Colts' teams at Under 9, Under 10, Under 11 and Under 13.


Our beautiful Wellbrook ground (tucked away behind the trees just off the Mayfield roundabout) is home to a fantastic Clubhouse and first class facilities.


Anyone interested in cricket, whether as a player (ours come in a variety of shapes, sizes, ages and skill levels), spectator, scorer, umpire, tea-maker, friend or casual passer-by will receive a warm welcome, a real taste of cricketing tradition and will be able to enjoy a superb Clubhouse and all the facilities you could ever want to enjoy the beautiful game of cricket!
