Founded in 1931, the Glenorchy Cricket Club — proudly known as the Magpies — is one of Tasmania’s most successful and iconic cricket clubs. Competing in the elite Cricket Tasmania Premier League (CTPL), we have a proud history of developing talent, winning silverware, and building great people through cricket.
Over the decades, Glenorchy has claimed a record 16 First Grade Premierships and 32 Club Championships, making us the most decorated club in Tasmanian Premier Cricket history. Our legacy includes producing state representatives, national-level players, and community leaders who embody our values on and off the field.
We are more than just a cricket club — we are a community hub, committed to providing an inclusive, high-performance environment for players of all ages and backgrounds.
