Mundford Cricket Club

Mundford Cricket Club has excellent facilities both on and off the field and is always looking to strengthen the playing side with new members always welcome. We run two adult Saturday sides in Norfolk Cricket Alliance Division 5 and a second team in Norfolk Cricket League Division 4NW. We also have a progressive Sunday side in the Mid Norfolk Sunday League which gives opportunities to younger players. The club jointly enters the NCB Over 40's league with our neighbours from Hockwold CC. We host our prestigious T20 Mundford Cup for 8 of the strongest local clubs running from mid-May on a Wednesday evening.
The club has a thriving junior set up and enter 3 age groups in the Norfolk Alliance Junior Leagues. Friday evening mixed junior coaching sessions, including All Stars cricket are well attended, whilst parents can enjoy socialising seated at the large heated patio area. We have held ladies softball festivals and hope to enter the new regional WS league and are setting up the girls softball team at U9.
The club has a strong social side run by our committed volunteers, providing hospitality to our many visitors and guests. The club regularly hosts Norfolk Senior County fixtures and junior county games. Recent facility improvements include an electronic scoreboard, 2 new sight screens, refurbished covers, gas central heating, new showers, carpets, and has been fully redecorated. We run quiz and curry nights and a pool team through the winter months. The club enjoys taking part in the local NCB 6-a-side indoor winter cricket league.
