Norcross CC is located in Thornton-Cleveleys - Blackpool, on the North-West coast of England.
We play our cricket in the Palace Shield Cricket competition, we currently have 3 Saturday teams, a mid week 20/20 side and a Sunday side, as well as a junior section which offers hardball and softball training and matches.
The Palace Shield is a very competative amature league that allows 1 overseas amature per team, over the last few years we have had 3 Australian players join us, the last stayed with us for 2 seasons and thoroughly enjoyed his time with us.
Our 1st XI are in Division 3 and finished 3rd last season (2025) narrowly missing out on promotion.
Our 2nd XI are in Division 5 and finished 4th last season and our 3rd XI finished runners up in Division 7, but due to a restructure of the leagues will stay in Division 7 for the coming season.
The 20/20 side reached the semi-finals of the competition in 2024 beating some very strong sides along the way, last season wasn't as successful but we are looking forward to the 2026 campaign
The Sunday (Tigers) side won promotion into division 1 after winning Division 2 in 2024 and last year successfully cemented their place in a very strong Division 1 and have ambitions to push on further this year.
Over the last few seasons the club has made improvements on and off the pitch, recently we have installed a new bar and decking area which has been a massive hit with players and supporters alike, we recently expanded from 2 Saturday teams to 3 due to the expanding player base and our win ratio is going up year on year as we continue to improve our skills and recruit talented players.
We are looking to continue this trend of improvment so please get in touch if you are looking for a new challenge and want to be part of our journey to the next level!!
