About North Kalgoorlie Cricket Club
The North Kalgoorlie Cricket Club was established in 1948 and currently has 2 senior and 4 junior teams that play in the Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association (EGCA). The standard of cricket is strong, with a number of former first class and metropolitan first grade cricketers playing in it. The EGCA is a prominent association at the Annual Country Week championships played in Perth in January each year. In the 2017/2018 season the club will be celebrating its 70th Year, which will be fantastic for all concerned. We have recently completed an upgrade on our Net Complex (lights and all) and during the winter of 2017 undergoing a major refurbishment on our clubhouse, ready in time for the new season. Our home ground is situated at the picturesque suburban Wallace Park ground in leafy Lamington. We are looking to add to our playing stocks for the 2017/2018 season and welcome players from all over Australia to contact us. Employment opportunities are aplenty in Kalgoorlie, on the back of an anticipated increase in Mining Activity.
