Reigate Pilgrims Cricket Club

The Reigate Pilgrims Cricket Club was formed after the war, however there are stories of cricket being played at the ground for over 100 years. Initially set up by a group of Reigate Priory CC members who were looking to play on Sundays, we have evolved into a great social club. We play to win, but enjoy the cricket first and foremost and enjoy a drink.

Situated in Betchworth (technically Buckland!) we are within easy reach of anyone in the Reigate, Dorking, Gatwick region. Our ground is a beauty and with the friendly pub on the edge of the ground, it is a truly lovely place to play the game.

We always play at home (people love coming to us, what can I say!) and play on Sundays from 2pm. We have had lots of league players play for us and we are always looking for new members. We have a full fixture list every Sunday from the end of April to the end of September and have been playing some of the same sides for 50+ years, along with new fixtures against others that share our philosophy on the game. So whether you are 17 or 70, we want to hear from you! The great thing is, players that join us tend to stay because of the welcome we offer.

If you are new to the area, play regularly, or even if you are looking to return to the game after a while, we would love to have you onboard. We are a friendly bunch who enjoy each other's success and play in a good spirit. Sledging of our own side is much more encouraged in the field than any opponents!
