About Alderley Edge Cricket Club
We are privileged to play on one of the most attractive grounds in England, against the unique background of ‘The Edge’; famous for legends of Wizards and Knights. We are a founder member of the Cheshire County Cricket League, the top league in the Cheshire Pyramid which ultimately feeds First Class Counties and Academies. For the latest fixtures click here
Our 1st and 2nd XI’s both play in their respective Premier Divisions on Saturdays, while the 3rd XI play in the Premier Division on a Sunday as a development side to nurture future talent. An active Over 40’s midweek side play on a Wednesday evening throughout the summer.
The 1st XI won the Cheshire County Cricket League in 2023 and the Cheshire T20 cup in 2021 and 2022.
The Club can offer a wide range of social facilities backed by the superb environment for cricket, which makes Alderley one of the first requests on the Cheshire County rota. The Clubhouse offers a full menu seven days a week throughout the year.
