South Shields Cricket Club

We are a friendly club based 10 miles south of Newcastle Upon Tyne with a historically thriving youth section, virtually all our senior players have come through the juniors. We field two Saturday teams with the 3rd and 4th teams playing on a Sunday.
We are looking for an ambitious amateur top order bat who ideally has a British passport.
This is our first season in this league after relegation from the North East Premier League but we are expecting the league to be very competitive as most if not all opponents will have overseas professionals. Despite the disappointment of relegation, the spirit in the club is good and we are looking forward to an enjoyable season.
