Spencer Bruerne Cricket Club is situated in the eye-catching village of Stoke Bruerne on the Grand Union Canal in South Northamptonshire under 1 hour from London. The club is an ambitious club formed in 2014 as an amalgamation of Stoke Bruerne Cricket Club and Spencer Cricket Club, playing their games at the George Tarry Cricket Ground.
The club is comprised of three Saturday league teams, which all compete in the Northamptonshire Cricket Leagues. With the club having reached it highest ever level in the NCL of Division 3 for season 2024, the club started in Division 8 of the NCL when we were formed.
The junior section is continuing to grow and in season 2024 we are planning on running teams at Under 11, Under 13 and for the first time Under 15 age groups. In addition we also run programmes in Dynamos and All Stars cricket. Opportunities to get involved in junior coaching are available for suitably qualified individuals.
