Steyning Cricket Club is an ambitious club, with 4 adult teams playing league cricket every Saturday within the Sussex Cricket League, the largest cricket league in Europe. The club play on one of the most picturesque grounds in Sussex at the foot of the South Downs, and are situated just 20 minutes from the lively city of Brighton and one hour away from London.
The club seek an overseas player to help its young, talented 1st XI to reach their goal of promotion to Division 2 of the Sussex Cricket League, one below Premier League level.
Steyning has a strong tradition of welcoming overseas players to the club every year, ensuring development and enjoyment both on and off the pitch. Steyning’s previous three Australian overseas players returned to Australia to cemented positions and improved performances in their respective Premier First Grade Competitions (1 x NSW, 2 x VIC) - a testament to the progress achieved after spending a season with Steyning.
