About Tyson Blair Woods
The Numurkah Youth Club Cricket Club was formed in 1973 following the amalgamation of the Numurkah CC and Numurkah Youth CC.
The club is based at the Numurkah Showgrounds on Tunnock Road, Numurkah.
The club is affiliated with the Shepparton Cricket Association in both Seniors & Juniors.
The Numurkah Youth Club Cricket Club offers many things to players, members and sponsors. Some of the facilities are as follows that are enjoyed regularly by all at the club:
• A choice of Turf cricket or Matting cricket.
• A social clubroom that offers everything that is required to players and supporters alike with a full bar, kitchen area, fully glassed in viewing area, separate change rooms and many other features.
• Three synthetic practice nets.
• Ball machine use
• Expert coaching on batting, bowling and fielding
• Regular organized training on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the season.
• Regular social functions including Sportsmans Nights and Reverse Draw function
• Links to all representative squads for junior cricketers
Our hard working committee ensures that the club is managed well off the field so as the on field performances can be at their optimum. Having a committee that wants to put their hand up and contribute is a full battle in many clubs. Our club has a stable committee that provides full support to all players and members.
