Stratford Upon Avon CC

The first cricket match played on the Swans Nest Lane ground took place on Saturday June 2nd 1894 between Stratford 1st XI and Flowers Brewery, meaning that Stratford-upon-Avon Cricket Club has played at the same venue for almost 120 years. Tree lined and overlooked by the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, it is one of the most picturesque grounds in the region, and has played host to a number of Warwickshire's First Class matches, as well as a women’s One Day International.

For the 2019 season the club will be represented by three senior teams; 1st XI and 2nd XI in the Warwickshire Cricket League, and the Stratford Bards (3rd XI) in the Cotswold Hills League. In 2019 our Sunday Smash 100 ball team won the inaugural Warwickshire 100 competition culminating in a trip to Edgbaston.
