About Williamstown Cricket Club

Williamstown Cricket Club is one of Australia's oldest and most storied cricket clubs, having run continuously since 1852 and recognised as the third oldest cricket club in Victoria.

We compete in the VSDCA, Melbourne's second tier of club cricket, below the Premier Cricket league, offering highly competitive turf cricket for players across the region. The club fields four senior sides in the VSDCA as well as junior sides in the Western Region Junior Cricket Association.

Our home ground is the iconic Williamstown Cricket Ground — located on Point Gellibrand, the southernmost point of Williamstown, extending into Port Phillip Bay, with stunning views across the water. The ground has been a venue for cricket since the 1850s, making it one of Melbourne's most atmospheric places to play the game.

Williamstown (known affectionately as "Willy") is a charming bayside suburb approximately 11 km from Melbourne's CBD, offering easy access to beaches, great cafes, heritage streetscapes, and a tight-knit community feel.
