About Wistow Cricket Club

Founded in 1898, Wistow Cricket Club is one of the oldest, and most successful clubs in the Adelaide Hills. Arguably home to the most distinctive oval in South Australian cricket, WCC is an icon of the Alexandrina and Eastern Hills league. Throughout its history, the club has claimed 14 A grade Premierships, and has a proud record of fielding competitive sides, in a number of senior grades. Despite recently losing key players to retirement, the club has maintained high standards. The A grade side has narrowly missed out on a finals berth in the past two seasons, and the club won both the B and D grade premierships in 2012. We are looking for enthusiastic players, who are willing to embrace the clubs culture, and assist in the rebuilding of the A grade side. Situated only 10 minutes outside of Mount Barker, WCC is ideally located for players wanting to experience Australian country cricket, without the road trip.
