About Wodonga Cricket Club
The Wodonga Cricket Club was founded in 1869 and since then, has had a long and successful history competing in the Cricket Albury Wodonga competition and its predecessors.
'The Bulldogs' home ground and clubrooms are located at Les Cheeley Oval in Wodonga. Featuring modern change rooms, a multipurpose family-friendly pavilion, net facilities and two high class turf wicket ovals, 'The Cheese' is regarded by many as one of the best grounds between the Capital Cities.
On the playing front, the club fields Senior teams in the Provincial Competition, Junior sides (under 12s, 14s and 16s) as well as running Junior Blast programs and All Abilities Cricket. In 2022 the club fielded its first open age female cricket team in the Cricket Albury Wodonga Female Cricket Competition. Strong growth in our junior player numbers through ties to local primary schools will see the club continue to thrive.
Off-field, the club continues to bolster its performance by attracting new sponsors to complement our existing partners. With a vibrant and active committee, social events play an integral role in connecting our Bulldog family.
