Wonga Park Cricket Club

Wonga Park Cricket Club is a large, ambitious and welcoming club based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, fielding seven senior men’s teams, a women’s team and a thriving junior program. The club has played finals in each of the past two seasons, including a grand final appearance, and we’re determined to keep building towards sustained success.

Our senior program is currently pushing for promotion into the top competition of the RDCA, with a clear focus on developing talent, competing hard and building a club that can succeed at the highest level. Our facilities have recently undergone a major refurbishment, featuring a brand new oval surface and upgraded training nets that provide an outstanding environment for both training and match days. The club is always buzzing, with strong playing numbers, great people and a genuine community atmosphere.

Our 1st XI is built around a strong core of experienced senior players, complemented by exciting young talent coming through the ranks. We’re looking for overseas players who want to take on meaningful roles, contribute both on and off the field, and become part of a group that works hard, competes strongly and enjoys the journey together.

We provide assistance with accommodation, support in finding employment and a 1st XI incentives program that rewards performance and contribution. At Wonga Park, you won’t simply be another overseas player — you’ll be a valued member of the club and an important part of our future.
