We have been a member of Cricketer Exchange for a long time now and we have always followed and used the service if we could. When we saw Alfie’s profile come up we had to have a crack at getting him to Montrose and what a great decision it was. Not only as a player but a person. Alfie bought in to our culture as soon as he landed, trained hard and contributed on and off field. Alfie volunteered to coach 2 junior teams while here and was a true asset to our first XI on field (324runs & 12 Wicket). Coming to play on synthetic is always a challenge but one Alfie adapted to really well to. Bowling important leg spin and a quality top order batter. We are super appreciative that we had a part to play in Alfie’s cricket journey within Australia and we are grateful to the cricket exchange to allow clubs like ours to build international relationships and be able to place people all around the world to play whatever standard they are at. It is something all clubs if they are able to should try and open the door to a guest player.
