Overseas Coach/Player – 2027 Season | Barton Town Cricket Club (England)

Barton Town Cricket Club, based in Lincolnshire, England, is seeking an Overseas Coach/Player for the 2027 season.

Unlike many overseas opportunities, our priority is finding an outstanding coach and mentor, with playing ability seen as an added bonus rather than the primary focus.

The successful applicant will lead and support our thriving Junior Vikings programme and Emerging Player Pathway, helping develop the next generation of cricketers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about junior development, enjoys working with players of all abilities, and is keen to become an integral part of our club both on and off the field.

The Role

* Lead junior coaching sessions throughout the season.
* Support the development of our emerging players.
* Play senior cricket (standard dependent on the successful applicant).
* Act as a positive role model within a family-oriented club.

Coaching Opportunities

Our excellent facilities provide significant opportunities to supplement your income through:

* Individual coaching.
* Small group coaching.
* Holiday camps and masterclasses.
* Coaching players from Barton Town CC and neighbouring clubs.

We expect the successful applicant to be proactive in building their own coaching programme, allowing the role to become largely self-funded through coaching activities.
