OPENING BOWLER WITH A BRITISH PASSPORT For Australian Summer 26/27

Location: Geelong, Victoria, Australia.
Competition: Geelong Cricket Association, Division 2.

We are seeking an opening bowler to lead our attack in the 26/27 season. We train Tuesdays and Thursdays, we have a mixture of synthetic and turf practice facilities, top of the range Bola bowling machine, video analysis software and highly experienced coaches that have your development as a priority.

Men's games are on Saturdays, Women on Sundays. We play a mixture of two-day games, one day games and participate in a mid-week T20 competition. We are also going to play some night matches under lights for the first time in the club's history.

The season starts in October 2026 and finishes in March 2027. Ideally, the right candidate would be available for the entire season.

All we ask is in return is:
- You coach a junior team
- Train and play, all sessions and games, if fit and able.
- Embrace the club. Be a part of social events and really contribute to the development of our club, even if you're only with us for a short time.

Location:

We are 10 minutes away from Geelong CBD and Waterfront, an hour away from Melbourne and 30 mins away from the start of the Great Ocean Road and the Bellarine Peninsula. The location is a great start point to an endless amount of tourism hotspots and nightlife.

We currently have 4 men’s sides, 1 women’s side and a strong junior section.

We are currently in Division two, which is a very competitive division and has a wide variety of players. We are striving for on field success at the same time as providing the best possible experience for our members. The 1st XI we're beaten in the Semi-Final at the end of the 25/26 season, so we would love to go one further next season.

We have a strong social aspect to the club, extremely welcoming and friendly. While we have strong expectations on field, we would like to think that the player we get is here to have a great life experience. Have fun, learn, develop and hopefully win some games of cricket.
