Buninyong Cricket Club

Buninyong Cricket Club is one of regional Victoria’s proudest cricket clubs, offering players the opportunity to compete in a strong and successful environment while becoming part of a welcoming and tightly connected community. Nestled at the picturesque Buninyong Recreation Reserve, the club boasts one of the most beautiful grounds in the Ballarat region, providing outstanding playing conditions and a fantastic atmosphere for both players and spectators. Just as importantly, Buninyong is renowned for its culture, with a strong emphasis on respect, teamwork, sportsmanship and community involvement. The club fields 5 men's teams across all levels, 2 women's and 5 junior teams, creating pathways for players of all abilities and fostering a vibrant club environment every week. In recognition of its commitment to the values of the game, Buninyong Cricket Club was honoured as the inaugural recipient of the Ballarat Cricket Association's Spirit of Cricket Award, a reflection of the outstanding culture and character that exists throughout the club.
