Wallington Cricket Club is a welcoming, ambitious club based on the outskirts of Geelong, Victoria, Australia. We are a small club with a strong community focus and a clear goal of progression.
Club Snapshot - season just completed
Senior sides: 5 (3 men’s, 2 women’s). Goal to make this 7 (4 men's and 3 women) next season.
Junior sides: 6. Goal to make it 8 next season.
Facilities: All cricket played on synthetic (hard‑wicket) pitches – no turf wickets. Brand new clubrooms and electronic scoreboard will be completed by the start of next season.
Competition: Division 2 (very competitive)
Our First XI has made regular finals in recent years and is now well positioned to push for promotion into Division 1.
Player Sought:
We are seeking a young medium/fast opening bowler to lead our First XI attack for the 2026/27 season to take us the next step to winning the flag.
Training: Tuesday & Thursday
Matches: Saturdays
Format: Mix of one‑day and two‑day cricket
Season: October to March
Eligibility (Essential)
Applicants must be:
A British passport holder and/or dual citizen, or
Eligible for a Working Holiday Visa
